Most problems encountered with Wintegrate involves the tpc/ip stack or corrupt wis and ini files. Follow the procedure below for trouble shooting Wintegrate problems.

bulletDelete c:\windows\winteg.ini and c:\windows\winteg1.wis files if they exist.
bulletRestart Wintegrate to see if it works.

bulletRun winipcfg to see if there is a problem with the tcp/ip stack. The normal ip configuration screen should come up if things are OK. If you get any error message when you run winipcfg, follow the procedures below. (This is only for W95 and NOT for W98).
bulletRun c:\windows\ws2bakup\ws2bakup.bat. You will get sharing violation errors on some files. Just choose Fail and let it continue until the file copy completes. You will get several errors. This is due to some of those files being used by Windows.
bulletNow shut down Windows and restart into DOS. Then run the c:\windows\ws2bakup\ws2bakup.bat again. This will copy the files that was missed earlier. But now you will get an error at the end of the process stating that "This program requires Microsoft Windows to run". Ignore this message and reboot.
bulletTry winipcfg after the reboot. If you still get an error, you will need to delete the network configuration and reinstall it. Otherwise, try Wintegrate.
bulletThe procedure above downgraded the tcp/ip stack to winsock version1. You will need to upgrade the tcp/ip stack to winsock version 2.
bulletRun z:\mspatch\tcpipw95.ws2\w95ws2setup.exe. this will upgrade your tcp/ip stack.
